Maintaining our Environment
Our environment is everything. We are dedicated to the natural surroundings of our park, the trees and native gardens and native animals.
We are currently maintaining and improving this environment for our truly unique park.
Your input is always valued. Whilst we are dedicated to the environment, we understand that we still must provide a comfortable tourism product of the highest industry standard.
Your suggestions are always welcome.

Lane Cove River Tourist Park has a substantial plan for the management of our environment. This plan includes:
Recycling
All paper, plastics, and metal is recycled on park. There are 18 recycling stations on park.

Eco Sites
The park is embarking on a program of environmental site upgrade projects. Our pilot project has been very successful with visitors now requesting the sites regularly. The sites allow for a site impact reduction of almost 35% and contain over 500 native plantings.

Pest Management and Weed Abatement
The park maintains a comprehenssive weed and pest abatement program managed through our field section. The park has developed a humane rabbit trapping and disposal system, subsidises bush regenration projects that focus on weed control, and has its own qualified weed control personnel.
Gardens, Grounds and Access
The park is constantly upgrading gardens and garden areas and upgrading access tracks into the National Park. On average, the park plants some 5500 native plants and trees every year.
We are also committed to providing a home in our park for threatened species like Darwinia Bi Flora.
